Unit Renewal:
Unit Renewal will be available starting November 1. To get started log into My.Scouting.org. Under the menu options, choose Organization Manager > Unit Renewal. Please note that the Unit Leader, Committee Chair, Chartered Organization Representative, or COR designee are the only ones who have access to unit renewal.
New -Units will charter to February 2028 (14 months). Units charter fee will be pro-rated at $8.50 per month.
-The lapse period will be eliminated starting in December. Units will want to process their unit renewals before 12/31/2026 in order to prevent interruptions in Scoutbook. Units will be considered dropped on 1//2027.
Online Unit Renewal Instructions
Membership Renewal:
All Scouting America registrations are on a 12-month membership cycle. Both youth and adults will pay a one year membership fee.
New -Starting in March of 2027 membership renewals will be pro-rated (by month) to February 2028.
-The lapse period will be eliminated starting in December. Members expiring in November will have a 1 month lapse. Members expiring December 31 should plan to renew their membership before January 1.
